Rest starts when you log a set. From the timer you can pause it, add or take off 30 seconds, or skip it.
How long
By default: 3:00 for lower-body compounds and for heavy sets of 6 reps or fewer, 2:00 for upper-body compounds, 1:30 for isolations and 1:00 for core. Change these, or give one exercise its own rest, in Profile › Workout settings › Rest times.
When rest ends
RIGOR can alert you when rest ends, including with the iPhone locked. iOS asks for permission the first time you rest. Choose the alert in Profile › Workout settings › When rest ends.
Lock Screen and Dynamic Island
During a workout the timer shows on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with Pause, +30 s and Skip. Workout settings can turn this off or hide exercise names and weights. If Live Activities are off for RIGOR in iOS Settings, the timer still works inside the app.
